ALUMINUM
AMAGER RESSOURECENTER
MATERIAL
Aluminum alloy EN-AW 5083 with hardness H22 and H111.
CHOICE OF FACADE
The facade changes color throught the day and season. It has a rough finish and nice texture which contributes to the brick geometry of the facade.
INSPIRATION TO THE FAÇADE
We wanted something monocrome and calm that would not compete with the 5th facade – the lush green roof, and strengthen the geometry.
PROCESSING OF THE MATERIAL
Minor process. In general raw aluminum.
CHANGE OF THE MATERIAL
It will get a more grey’ish patina, and the reflection will decrease.
WATER DRAINAGE AND ROOF SAFETY
The bricks drains from each other and down. The facade works as railing on the roof.
